Challenges of the district : Our research with local communities Women do not receive employment easily. They still
need to be empowered.
There are no proper provisions for electricity. We receive power only
for eight to ten hours.
Women literacy is below average.
The level of ground water has become very low.
There is shortage of clean drinking water. The lakes are polluted
and contaminated.
Health infrastructure is retarded.
Many NGOs have helped the community to progress. Government should
organize workshops to make people aware about various issues.
