Agra
Urban Health Program
A
strategy to improve access to health services in the slums
of the city was evolved through a consultative process involving
relevant government departments, municipal bodies and other
private and civil society organizations. It emerged that partnership
with experienced NGOs would be effective in rapidly expanding
services to the large unreached sections of Agra city. UHRC
is providing technical support to the Government of Uttar
Pradesh and private NGOs in operationalizing this partnership
initiative.
